Police super-complaint investigation highlights police failures to protect victims of violence against women and girls

Today (24th August 2021) Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS), the College of Policing and the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) responded to the super-complaint made by the Centre for Women's Justice, finding that the police are failing to use protective measures to protect women and girls who are victims or at risk of violence.
