Deep sadness at death of Jill Saward

All of us at EVAW are incredibly shocked and saddened by the passing of Jill Saward, a vital member of EVAW’s coalition through her fantastic work campaigning for myth-busting for jurors on sexual violence cases, who was a key figure at our launch in 2005.

Those of us who worked with Jill always found her to be kind, caring and uplifting. Her strength, commitment and tireless campaigning for justice for sexual violence survivors was (and will continue to be) deeply inspiring and, like her JURIES campaign partner Alison, we hope to be able to continue her legacy.

Our hearts go out to her family and friends.
