Our submission to the ASA's consultation on gender stereotypes

EVAW, Imkaan & Rape Crisis respond to the advertising regulator's request for views on harmful sexism in ads

(2 August) The Advertising Standards Authority has been consulting on proposed new guidelines to tackle gender stereotypes in advertising.

The consultation ended in late July BUT we understand the ASA will still accept submissions.

The ASA draft guidelines and a description of the consultation is here.

Read this joint consultation response by EVAW, Imkaan, Rape Crisis England and Wales and Rape Crisis South London and do use it to make your own, however long or short.
